i know my blog is dead

yes yes, i know my blog is like sooo dead nobodi reads it. :P
well.. im the kind that can work 24/7 on something im interested in, and then drop it all the moment i lose interest.

well there are a few reasons i dun blog often
1 internet connection sux so bad i cant get on msn for 30 minutes.
2 i dont want to blog about everything i do
3 no interest :p
4 rather go lepak somewhere
5 got burnt n bitten once cuz i blogged

well this previous semester (jan 08)
i slept early - like 1-2am, compared to prev sem where i slept @ 4am almost everyday

i studied for the longest period in my life, no joke. 2 solid weeks of studying law. thats what law does to u :|

i got to know some guys from the cf more - jon, vincent, jared, alex, n fred
the funni thing is that all of them stay on the same floor.. so when its dinner time, i walk down to the 1st floor, then go to alvins room.
when the ibans are good to go, we walk 3 rooms down n bang up ivan
then go 2 rooms down, ask jared to join us, most of da time he doesnt tho
another 2 rooms down the hall, jons room.
go 6 rooms down, alex's room.
so thats how we call ppl for supper.

alvin and i downloaded 30+ christian albums.
thats more than 1song/day
which brings me to...
why do christians, especially those around me, only listen listen to hillsongs and planetshakers?
sure, they are good n solid n stuff. n their music can be sung in church. yet there are so many other good christian artistes, whose songs can be sung in church, IMO
well there was chris tomlin, whom i listened to around 2004.
4 years down the road, how great is our god has become the new theme song for some churches, chris tomlin now joins the list that includes hillsongs and planetshakers.
however i have seen certain songs of other artistes that are sung in church.
e.g
jared anderson - rescue, amazed
jeremy camp - beautiful one
casting crowns - who am i
delirious - majesty, did you feel the mountains tremble, history maker

dont get me wrong, im not saying hills or shakes are wrong, or that any 'christian' artiste should be sung in church (think switchfoot? lol)
i juz wish to see youths listen to more christian music, rather than to secular music.
when i moved into sg, i see that the sg youths are more exposed compared to malaysia
i know, and im not boasting, that there are christian artistes that are comparable to secular music. sure, not everyone would appreciate n enjoy the music i like, but christian music is just so wide rather than just the few we normally hear.

thank god Passion is coming to malaysia on august 3rd (so i heard)
all u guys who see this should make it a point to come. its a christian conference that reaches out to uni students in USA. this year they're having a world tour and thank god KL is in their list. hopefully the youths that go there will be exposed to unfamiliar songs.

Q: why dont u check out some other christian music? they're good u know..

i can already smell the flak coming in after this posting.. i juz hope people wont misconstrue this post. I JUZ HOPE U GUYS WILL LISTEN TO MORE CHRISTIAN MUSIC
